Stone from Cellulose – PaperStone®

Description
PaperStone® is a sustainable composite material made from 100% post-consumer recycled paper PetroFree™ phenolic resins and natural pigments. As PaperStone® ages it will assume a pleasing lustrous seasoned appearance that is an inherent characteristic of the material. This is a natural progression of a natural product resulting in a beautifully soft rich patina. The aging process takes time and much like fine hardwood a deep luster will develop in areas of heavier use. Worldwide unique and absolutely sustainable: The composite material PaperStone® consists of 100% FSC-certified recycled paper and cardboard and does not contain any chemical components based on crude oil. It thus serves as a particularly environmentally friendly alternative to conventional panel materials. The impressive naturalness in optics and haptics makes every processor and architect's heart beat faster. Different colors and thicknesses offer you individual design options. Due to the sustainable material composition and production, PaperStone® meets the strictest environmental standards and has the Forest Stewardship Council® certification. Due to their long service life, PaperStone® surfaces are used in a variety of ways - from kitchens, bathrooms to restaurants, retail or laboratories and as a coating in furniture construction. The particular advantage: if worn, a flawless surface can be easily restored by sanding.
